Johnathan married Martha Minerva McCray on 13 March 1860 in Oil Creek, Pennsylvania ^44,53.^,67 (Martha Minerva McCray was born on 16 April 1834 in Oil Creek, Crawford Co, Pennsylvania ^44,52,67,69 and died on 20 August 1906 in Greenwood, Steuben, New York, USA ^44,67,69.)
